Tesla · Megafactory Texas, Brookshire
On August 6, 2026, Tesla announced Megapack 3 was officially rolling off the line at its newest Megafactory in Brookshire, Texas, a plant that went from groundbreaking to operation in sixteen months.
The launch needed one image that said Megapack 3 was in production, and it had to be made with the whole factory in it. That meant pausing a working plant and getting everyone to the same place at the same time.
I coordinated the moment from end to end: stopping the factory, lining up teams across the site, announcing it, and getting the whole crew in place. Then I went up on a scissor lift and took the picture.
The photo went out with the launch announcement from @Tesla_Megapack. Elon Musk amplified it the same day, and the post passed 10M views.
